What this lesson teaches
Arch letters enter from the top: n is one arch plus an exit, m is two arches.
A well-formed m has three equal legs that all touch the baseline. The letter v is a single arch that exits from the midline with a small tail, and x is the one cursive letter written in two strokes — arch first, then the crossing stroke.
Count silently as you write m: down-up-down-up-down. Rhythm keeps the arches even.

How to use it
Print at 100% on US Letter — not “fit to page”. The ruling is classroom size, and scaling the page down makes every letter the wrong size. The 10 cm scale at the foot of the sheet is there to check against: if it measures short, the print was scaled.
