What this lesson teaches
Longer words test your stamina: joins stay smooth for three letters, then wobble on the fifth.
Slow down mid-word instead of speeding up. Consistent letter size across a whole word is what separates neat handwriting from hurried scrawl.

friendSix letters with an f-descender and an r-shoulder. Keep the size of every letter identical from f to d.

schoolWatch the double o — two midline joins in a row. The two l-loops at the end should match exactly.

How to use it
Print at 100% on US Letter — not “fit to page”. The ruling is classroom size, and scaling the page down makes every letter the wrong size. The 10 cm scale at the foot of the sheet is there to check against: if it measures short, the print was scaled.
